GCI: Floating Island
Our Mission is to implement the sequestering of CO2, in the form of dry-ice, to the bottom of the ocean. The dry ice will be so deep that ocean pressure will prevent it from returning back to CO2 gas, sublimating. The equipment to do this is illustrated in our demo video.
I have invented and applied for patent protection on the technology. I will license the patents to Global Cooling Inc. It is an ocean floating system that has to be built in ship yards and will employ up to 32,000 workers plus thousands of life supporting goods and services providers at its peak.
In sight of the oil disaster, I believe the right thing to do is to develop relations with Gulf ship builders with an eye to having them start building the thousands of floating CO2 capturing and sequestering units that will be needed.
Worldwide shipyards can be employed in due course. We can’t get too many because the atmosphere is so great and there are so many sources of CO2. We not only have to stop the increase but we need to push it back to pre-industrial levels. This could become a major industry employing thousands worldwide.
It will take over 2,500,000 tons of steel, 17,500 windmills, 17,500 pumps, 17,500 computers, thousands of feet of piping and miscellaneous items. Investors could make millions. It could become a giant stimulus package that could go on for years.
I am really concerned about the Global Warming problem, as many others are. I am afraid the politicians and the special interests will delay any significant action for years. I am thinking we should go around them and get the job done, starting right now. There are people who don’t think Global Warming is a reality. I believe there are many more that do, like you. Individually we all feel powerless. If it can be done while helping, not hurting, the economy it only makes sense to play it safe.
Global Cooling Inc. has developed this website that will tell the story and allow you to take power into your hands by investing funds into this effort. The money will finance engineering and building demonstration models. The money will be deposited in a special bank account that can only be drawn on to cover legitimate charges to the account. A reputable accounting firm will handle the books which will be audited regularly to ensure the funds are distributed as will be specified in the corporate by-laws. People know there is power in numbers and we know that billions of people are on the World Wide Web. We see the political boondoggling and the coal and oil industry negativism. I believe if we see that, individually, we have a way to actively help save the Mother Earth, our home and the home of our children and grandchildren, we will respond with enough money to build a few CO2 prototype sequestering units for ocean testing.
With the technology proof tested it will easier for the politicians to justify placing a carbon tax on sources of carbon/ More money will be available that will pay for deploying the units needed to zero out coal carbon INCREASE of CO2 in less than ten years.
With success of this voluntary program Coal and Oil interests will be less resistant... The politicians will also find it easier to set a price on carbon because the money from the carbon tax can be seen as going directly to solving the problem. Not pressuring industry to solve a problem without the tools to solve it. This new technology can be more readily accepted because we can see the CO2 actually going to the ocean bottom and costs are so relatively low. Around $5.00 or less per ton on coal and $1.00 / barrel on oil.
You know, if people see that a complete and solid technology and business package is being presented it will be more reassuring and make it easier to subscribe. If they know that CO2 can be extracted AND be sequestered in one very efficient and economical package it would encourage them to follow their heart. Having reputable ship builders confirming the cost factors will help build confidence. Having Global Cooling Incorporated books open for all to see I hope will also be reassuring.
On AL Gore’s movie website and in his book “OUR CHOICE” about the dangers of Global Warming he says that it will take all the power generated by one power plant to sequester underground all the CO2 generated by it and three others.
