How to pay for stopping Global Warming

There are a series of logical steps that can to be taken and they are:

1.  First, we have to have a technological tool that solves the problem.

2.  Determine the cost of building and operating the technological tool.

3.  Establish specific and identifiable income streams as follows:

    a. Coal at $5.00 a ton that will produce $25,000,000,000 per year.

    b. Oil at $2.00 a barrel, 10,000,000 barrels a day will produce over

    $7,300,000,000/yr.

    c. Cattle at $1.00 a head will produce millions more.

These factors can vary according t0 determination of final costs.

These are three channels that act as funnels to bring the money into the CO2 Bank account for distribution to operations that remove CO2 at so much a ton of proven performance.

In this way all of the costs will be passed on to all who use energy in direct proportion to their usage.  Their bills may increase as much 2% or 3% which is cheap compared to the cost if global warming goes unchecked.  We all use the energy.  We should all pay for it. With all the costs passed on by the energy companies they should not object to being the mechanism for the transmission of funds involved in these transactions. Energy bills fluctuate from month to month and will hardly be noticed by the average household.

The technological tool is the Global Cooling Incorporated ocean floating CO2 capturing and sequestering equipment that will cost just about a million dollars per unit.  Each unit is designed to remove 400,000 tons of CO2 per year.  All the 14,000,000,000 tons of CO2 emitted by power plants can be removed with 35,000 units.  The income streams noted above will pay for 3,500 each year. In ten years or less the 35,000 units could be sequestering the CO2 from power plants or any other source.

Cattle emit methane, another green-house gas.  So the fee paid on cattle, pays for  removal of CO2, which covers the methane warming aspect.

With the 35,000 units in place in less than ten years all the CO2 from power plants will be offset, no longer a problem.  Increasing CO2 levels will virtually stop.  Continuing having ship yards building CO2 units into the future will start reversing the amount of CO2 in the air so in less than fifty to one hundred years the levels could be back to pre-industrial times.

The numbers used here are the best I can come by at this time but they are close enough to develop the picture and I welcome meaningful corrections or additions.

When coal, oil or cattle is purchased the appropriate fee is automatically paid into a special Bank account.  The Bank will manage the account.  It will keep the funds safe and secure.
